Below is a list of all the nematode species that we are culturing or have cultured. Most of these are freely available for teaching and research purposes. Just send Paul a request by email. If you should in due course publish on these nematodes, we will be happy to add your reference to the relevant strain's data page. And of course we would be grateful for a reprint!

For our own research, we do not need monoxenic or axenic cultures, so note that most of these cultures contain unknown bacteria in addition to the E. coli we add when inoculating fresh plates. Some also contain yeasts, or fungi.

Note: These pages are intended not just for strain distribution, but also to keep previous recipients of strains informed about identity, sampling locality, descriptions, etc. as well as nomenclatorial changes. I will update this information whenever necessary. Check these pages before publishing your work using any of these strains, to make sure your information about them is up to date.

Except for PDL0003, PDL-coded strains are NOT yet at CGC.
