Found beneath bark of a deceased elm sapling infested by Scolytus scolytus
and S. multistriatus in Harpenden, UK. Collected by David Hunt in
November 1995.
Xenic: E. coli on 1% pure agar + 5 µg/ml cholesterol. Keep
at 16C to room temperature.
Long-term storage:
Freezing was not attempted.

Note:
Autotokous. The number of ovaries grades from complete didelphism to complete
mono-prodelphism, depending on food availability (starved females are monodelphic).
This invalidates the genus Myctolaimellus!
