Culture conditions:
- Monoxenic: E. coli on NA + 5mg/ml cholesterol + 1 mM CaCl2 + 1
mM MgSO4 + 25 mM K-phosphate buffer (pH=6).
Long-term storage:
No survival after freezing in glycerin. Can be stored 6-12 months on slowly
desiccated plates; such plates can
probably be stored permanently in liquid nitrogen.
