Locality:
Sand on slope of dune facing the beach, collected in June 1997 by Paul
De Ley near the grounds of "Strand Motel", Koksijde, Belgium.
Classification:
Chromadoria - Chromadorida - Leptolaimina - Plectoidea - Plectidae
Culture conditions:
- Xenic: on 1% soil agar (incl. 1-3% dark soil) + 5 µg/ml cholesterol,
with 1-3 ml P-buffer (pH 7.3) on top. Co-occurring bacteria and a fungus
have not been removed. Kept at 17C.
Long-term storage:
Freezing was not attempted.
