One of the favorite places for evening photography at the Bosque del Apache refuge in New Mexico is the so-called 'crane pools' along the main highway to the north of the Visitor Center. Some cranes can be seen in these images, but the main interest were the cloud formations and Chupadera Mountains in the distance. This page shows another interesting crane pool sunset.
