Big congratulations to Dr. Yang Liu, who joined our group in 2012 and obtained a Ph.D. from the ETOX program in 2017, for starting his independant academic career as an Assistant Professor of Pathology in Yale University.

Congratulations to Sabrina Sedano, who was a UCR undergraduate working in our group from 2015 to 2018, for being admitted to UCSF School of Medicine. She will be joining the PRIME-US cohort (a mission-based program of 12 students focused on working with underserved communities by obtaining a MD/master’s) with a scholarship that will be covering her full cost of attendance.
