Anton Tomich graduated with his Ph. D. in 2023 and is now a post-doctoral researcher at Argonne National Lab in Chris Johnson’s group.

Varun Tej graduated with his Ph. D. in 2023 and is joining the Spokoyny group at UCLA as a post-doctoral researcher.

Matthew Soto graduated with his B.S. in Chemistry in 2023 and is now a graduate student in the University of Oregon Pharmacology program.

Steven Fisher graduated with his Ph. D. in 2019 and is currently employed as a staff scientist at Livermore national lab in the energetic materials group.

Jack Kleinsasser graduated with his Ph. D. in 2019 and is currently employed as a scientist at Sabic Innovative Plastics in Newburgh, Indiana.

Scott McArthur graduated with his Ph. D. in 2018 and is currently a regulatory chemist at Vestra Resources inc. in northern California and teaches inorganic chemistry part time at Chico State.

Sarah Lee graduated with her Ph. D. in 2018 and is currently a tenured professor at Butte Community College in northern California.

Chris Lugo graduated with his Ph. D. in 2018 and is currently a tenured professor at Norco Community College in Norco, California.

Jess Estrada graduated with his Ph. D. in 2017 and is currently a tenured professor at Santa Barbara City College.

Allen Chan graduated with his Ph. D. in 2016 and is currently working as a research scientist at zNano WaterTech in San Francisco and a patent agent.

James Wright graduated with his PhD in 2013, and is currently working as a Safety Officer at the University of Chicago.

David Woen graduated with his B.S. in Chemistry in 2013. He received his Ph.D. from UC Irvine in the Bill Evans group and is currently employed as a Post-Doc at Los Alamos.


Hosea Nelson was a visiting scholar in 2012, and is currently a full professor at Caltech.

Ernesto Delgado graduated with his B.S. in Chemistry in 2012, and is currently working as a Chemist at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals.

Ahmad El-Hellani was a postdoctoral researcher from 2012-2013, and is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Public Health at The Ohio State University.

Gilbert Raymond Moreno graduated with his B.S. in Biochemistry in 2013, is employed as a B.A. chemist.

Javier Fajardo Jr. graduated with his B.S. in Chemistry in 2014, and obtained his PhD at Caltech in Harry Grey's group. He is currently a postdoc at Livermore National lab.

Kin Li graduated with his B.S. in Chemistry in 2012, and is currently working at Materia as a Process Chemist.

Sean Quinlivan was a graduate student from 2011-2013, and is currently working as a Manufacturing Team Lead at Gilead Sciences.

Matt Asay was a visiting scholar from 2013-2014, and is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Universal Display Corporation.

Adam Yu graduated with his B.S. in Biochemistry in 2014, and is currently in pharmacy school at USC.

Tao Sun graduated with his M.S. in Chemistry in 2014, and is currently working at Deft Aerospace.

Uday Chauhan graduated with his B.S. in Biology in 2016, and is currently in medical school at St. George University.

Bria Pettway graduated with her B.A. in Chemistry and minor in Spanish in 2016 and is currently in medical school at UCR.

Rich Thai graduated with his B.S. in Biochemistry in 2016 and is currently a graduate student at San Diego State.
