Utah prairie dogs are a species in decline, existing only in small, scattered populations. They closely resemble their close relatives the white-tailed prairie dog and black-tailed prairie dog in appearance and behavior. These were photographed in Bryce Canyon National Park and in the small town of Parowan. |
