Yellow-spotted honeyeater        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Yellow-spotted honeyeaters are one of three very similar species (including Lewin's and graceful honeyeaters) that overlap in northeastern Queensland and are best differentiated by calls.   All are olive-green with yellowish mouth-lines and a yellowish spot behind the eye.   All are wet forest birds; these were photographed near Kuranda, Queensland.
