Many thousands of snow geese spend the winter at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in central New Mexico.   Many of them land and feed in corn fields, such as the one planted by Refuge staff near the 'Farm Deck' observation area, where I took these photos.   In putting them on the web, I take note of the fact that a lot of bird photographers have made a respectable cottage industry out of pictures of Bosque snow geese coming in to land.   These are my contribution to this tradition....
