Bolivian squirrels are small tree-dwelling squirrels from South America. They are quite similar to North American tree squirrels, but have shorter, 'sleeker' hair (there is also a large red-colored squirrel). These were photographed in cloud forest along the Manu Road in southeastern Peru, at an altitude of about 1500 m. |
