Blue-gray tanagers are one of the commonest -- and among the least colorful -- of the diverse group of tanagers in Central and South America.   One of these was feeding near a fruiting mango tree in Gamboa, Panama; others were near San Pedro, on the Manu Road in southeastern Peru, in Cali, Colombia, and in Tatama National Park, Colombia.   Other common species in Gamboa included white-shouldered, plain-colored, golden-hooded, crimson-backed, palm, and gray-headed tanagers.
