The Altamira oriole is a large tropical oriole that makes it into the Rio Grande valley of south Texas. Unusually for orioles, they can be very confiding (I saw one attacking its reflection in a rear-view mirror), especially around feeders. These were at Bentsen Rio Grande State Park. |
