A number of species of brush-finches occur in tropical forests in Central and South America.   This is the white-naped brush-finch, photographed at about 2000 m in the Western Andes above Cali; the yellow-bellied birds were at about 3000 m (near treeline) in Los Nevados National Park above Manizales, both in Colombia.
