Plumbeous, Cassin's, and blue-headed vireos were formerly considered one species, the spectacled vireo.   All have striking 'spectacles' around the eye and loud voices; the plumbeous vireo has a gray-and-white coloration and a preference for dry woodland and forest in the American southwest.   These were photographed in the Chiricahua and Santa Rita Mountains of southeastern Arizona..
