Many small 'old-world' warblers breed in Eurasia during the Northern Hemisphere spring and summer. Most migrate to the tropics for the winter. Some are distinctive but many are quite difficult to separate in the field, except by call and habitat; for example, this species looks very much like the willow warbler. The photos were taken near Bialowieza, Poland (with great difficulty because these birds are extremely active). |
