Many species of tits occur in Europe and Asia. The great tit, shown here, is probably the most common in much of Europe and is a familiar resident of city parks, gardens, woods, and forests. They are hard to photograph because they seldom stop moving for more than a couple of seconds; these pictures were taken near Bialowieza, Poland.
