Nunbirds (and their relatives the puffbirds) are a Latin American family of forest birds.   Most are large-headed and fluffy; nunbirds are more slender and highly social, going around in large, noisy flocks   One of these birds was eating a katydid near Pantiacolla Lodge in the Amazonia region of southeastern Peru; the others were along the Manu River.
