The monarch-flycatchers are a small group of active insectivorous birds from wet forests in Australia.   This one, the spectacled monarch, is found along much of the central and northern east coast.   I took the photos Kingfisher Park near Julatten, in far north Queensland.
A closely-related speces with a somewhat broader distribution is the black-faced monarch.
