Grey-headed robin        Images © Mark A. Chappell

The Australian 'robins' are a diverse group; some are extremely bright while others -- like this grey-headed robin from north-east mountain forests -- are colored in subtle browns and grays. I took the picture in the very dark picnic area (in deep shade from rainforest trees) at The Crater National Park on the Atherton Tableland, northeast Queensland, Australia.
