These noisy flycatchers seem to be everywhere in southern Chile, and their white crown and 'crest' (best seen in the two lower images) is easily seen in the field, especially when the birds are agitated.   In reality the 'crest' typically looks more like an inverted Mohawk haircut than a proper crest.   These were photographed near Valdivia in southern Chile.
