Dollarbirds are one of the many Eurasian and African rollers, less colorful than many.   It is a migrant, arriving in spring to breed in Australia and departing in late summer or fall.   These were hawking insects near Darwin in the Northern Territory and in far north Queensland, near Mareeba.
