Collared aracari        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Collared aracaris are small toucans that have the same klutzy, front-heavy look as other toucans, such as the familar keel-billed toucan.   Like their larger relatives, aracaris often eat eggs and nestlings of small birds.   These were photographed on a rainy day in Gamboa, Panama.
