Tiny hawk        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Tiny hawks, as their name implies, are small accipiters found in forests in Central America.   They can usually be recognized by size, shape, and rusty-red color.   This one was photographed near Gamboa, Panama; it was perched in a very tall tree and I had to combine two teleconverters to achieve even this far-from-perfect image.
