The iconic Andean condor was plentiful in Torres del Paine (we saw soaring groups of 10 or more on a couple of occasions), but disappointingly, none of them ever came very close during our visit. Consequently I don't have any good photos of them; these are the best I could do. The bird below is an adult female, with quite a bit of food in her crop. |
