Africa has a number of bustard species ranging in size from the huge kori bustard, one of the largest of all flying birds, to smaller and less dramatic species such as this white-bellied bustard. All bustards are ground-dwellers that feed on a variety of seeds, insects, and other small animals; many have dramatic courtship displays by males. This white-bellied bustard was in Nairobi National Park, Kenya. |
