Morning and afternoon light, Half Dome        Images © Mark A. Chappell

The dramatic face of Half Dome is a Yosemite icon, immortalized in the photos of Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell, and practically everyone else who visits the park.   For several of these I used a long focal length to bring out the effects of early morning and late afternoon light on the Dome's profile.
Some more pictures of Half Dome are here, here, here, and from the valley rim at Glacier Point, here.
