These four images are of disparite subjects (redwood trees in Big Basin; a small coastal stream; a winter wild grape leaf), but both are characteristic of the central California coast. The redwoods are in Big Basin State Park north of Santa Cruz; the stream is Soberanes Creek, in Garrapata State Park, south of the town of Carmel. |
