This sandstone tower, with a juniper and low bushes growing out of the red soil in the foreground, is at the upper entrance to the Park Avenue valley viewpoint and trailhead in Arches National Park. I used a polarizing filter and extra-saturated film to bring out the color and create a stark contrast with the sky. |
