Prairie warbler        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Prairie warblers mainly winter in South America, but a few winter in Florida.   They have bright yellow undersides with black streaks on the sides and 'spectacle' facial markings.   These photos are of a vagrant that showed up in a park in Marina, California in 2022; another page has images of Florida birds and one that spent many weeks in some unpreposessing vacant lots on Cannery Row in Monterey, California in late 2021.
