Grace's warbler        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Grace's warblers are native to highland forests in the American southwest (mainly Arizona) and Mexico.   They closely resemble the eastern yellow-throated warbler, but Grace's has a mostly yellow instead of a mostly white eyeline.   These were photographed in the Santa Rita Mountains of southeastern Arizona.   Three other 'southwestern specialty' warblers occur in the same region and habitat:   painted redstarts, red-faced warblers, and olive warblers.
