His hammer, Mjolnir, and his giant glove, Glofi, increased the power
of Thunor over the serpents of Midgard.
This inscription, lying ca. 9 ft. SW of the main sun-god figure at
Peterborough, Ontario, depicts the god strangling the serpents. The text
reads: M-L-N-R
