| GRADUATE SUPPORT CURRICULA          It is
  vital for Entomology and Biological Control graduate students to have
  knowledge of related biological fields that are encountered in their
  professional experience.  Included are
  identification of diseases transmitted to humans and agricultural crops by
  insect vectors, discovery and preliminary identification of suitable
  candidates for biological control, and alternate avian hosts of insect
  transmitted viral diseases.  Future taxonomic changes will require agreement among specialists.  Following are some recommended
