  Also called the Dainty Sulphur, this species is a strong migrant.  It flies northward in spring, sometimes
  hundreds of miles.  The dark form
  female is pictured.  Lemon-yellow
  above with black tips and edging to the forewing, olive-green below except
  for orange inner forewing and dark marks.   |
