  CREATION OF THE BARBAROUS INDIANS ACCORDING TO THEIR ACCOUNT             Others affirm that this creation
  of Viracocha wak made from the Titicaca,TIWANAKU 1(B.B) site
  where, having originally formed some shapes of large strong men which seemed
  to him out of proportion, he made them again of his stature which was, as
  they say, the average height of men, and being made he gave them life. Thence
  they set out to people the land. As they spoke one language previous to
  starting, they built, in TIWANAKU ,2 (B.B.) those
  edifices, the ruins of which may still be seen, before they set out. This was
  for the residence of Viracocha, their maker. After departing they varied
  their languages, noting the cries of wild beasts, insomuch that, coming
  across each other afterwards, those could not understand who had before been
  relations and neighbours.             Whether it was in one way or the
  other, all agree that Viracocha was the creator of these people. They have
  the tradition that he was a man of medium height, white and dressed in a
  white robe like an alb secured around the waist, and that he carried a staff and a book in his hands.   Aquí tenemos el texto con algunas

  párrafos de  Sarmiento de Gamboa ,
  cronista español, tenemos una confirmación 
  histórica del estudio de la posible 
  Escritura en  Tiwanaku. La
  mayoría de los investigadores 
  considero, no sabemos  porque,
  que en la mano izquierda de varios monolitos de esa  antigua cultura 
  llevaban un Keru.  Evidentemente
  no es un keru ni un vaso ni algo parecido es una bolsa de cuero o tejida  en la cual se llevan textos o un libro
  como afirma Sarmiento de acuerdo a tradiciones andinas, como se pueden
  verificar en las comparaciones con diferentes rollos de otras culturas
  ancestrales. En el monolito denominado “ El Fraile “, lo que vemos es un
  libro y el monolito denominado “Ponce”, 
  un rollo o texto. Las investigaciones deben continuar pero la
  existencia de escritura en Tiwanaku ya no es un a utopía. El tipo de
  signografía  se lo debe  verificar y confirmar con otros
