wings); body not metallic, usually yellowish or blackish, thorax
            along median line almost smooth and bare except for
paired setae (rarely more setae
            sublaterally), including rare shortwinged forms; oral
depression on back of head much
            constricted or separated from foramen magnum (= opening
on posterior side of head) by
            postgenal bridge (as in Fig.B); [tarsi sometimes with 4 segments; antenna sometimes with
            one ring segment, number of other
