EE 204 Advanced Electromagnetics 4 Lecture, 3 hours. Prerequisite(s): EE 117 or consent of instructor. Presents selected topics in electromagnetic theory and antenna design. Topics include power transmission and attenuation in microstrip transmission lines (TL) and waveguides (WG); transient analysis and applications of TL and WG; radiation of electromagnetic waves; antenna design; electromagnetic interference and compatibility; and numerical methods in electromagnetic theory. |
