VCE examples: Recording demonstration material for disk access

VCE clips not only mimick the focusing action of the light microscope, but also allow for the addition of text and labels to individual frames, e.g. to point out and name important structures.

This is ideal for teaching and demonstration purposes. Annotated VCE clips written to CD-R allow students and other beginning microscopists to access these files on any computer, and to observe nematodes through the"virtual microscope" much as they would appear through a better research microscope.

Click here to visit vCenema and see the first nematodes processed in this manner for teaching. Keep in mind that these files are intended for distribution on CD: depending on your internet connection, they may be too large (about 2-4 Mb each) for convenient access via the web.
