         The carvings shown as reproductions on this page have been criticized by various specialists of archeology, primarily because they show a certain artificiality albeit artistic style.  As of March 2019 there have been no additional discoveries in the Americas resembling them and their dates of origin are obscure.  Should their dates be established as early as 9,000 BC, they might relate to a civilization that flourished around 9,000 B.C.E. as mentioned by Plato (Please  see <Extinct>.)
