Cloud forest stream

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in Costa Rica is famous among birders for resplendant quetzals, umbrellabirds, cotingas, other rare birds... and wet weather. This image was made on an unusually sunny day. I didn't have a tripod so I rested the camera on a sturdy branch and let the camera determine the exposure in the dim light of the forest understory.
