Daintree National Park is a well-known tourist spot in tropical far north Queensland. It has lots of little hostels, restaurants, exotic fruit farms, and a number of excellent hiking trails, including this one. It was especially memorable because we found several cooperative buff-breasted paradise-kingfishers, recently arrived from their New Guinea wintering areas and busy setting up territories. |
