Prince's plume        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Prince's plume (Stanleya pinnata) is a tall mustard relative (it reaches 1.7 meters) common in the dry regions of western North America.   These were growing in the Owens Valley, east of the town of Bishop in California's Inyo County. This one may be the Panamint prince's plume (Stanleya elata), a local endemic in eastern California.
