Desert evening primrose

Lots of evening primrose (Oenothera spp.) grow in southwestern deserts following good winter rains.   These were growing at the south end of Joshua Tree National Park in California.   I took the photos on a windy day, which created considerable difficulties in obtaining sharp images.
