The winter rains of 2007-2008 and in 2010 were relatively normal in southern California, and the wildflower 'crop' was good.   One of the common species in western Riverside County is baby blue-eyes (Nemopila insignis).   These were growing near Perris, CA., and in the Box Springs mountains in the city of Riverside.
