In July and August of 2006 I was running a small mammal physiology study at the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Lab in the eastern Sierra (Mono County, California).   Catching small mammals often requires one to check or set traps at dawn and dusk, which afforded good opportunities to see some nice sunrises and sunsets.  Here are a few sunrise photos.
