Peregrine falcon (with rock dove and teal)        Images © Mark A. Chappell

These two female peregrines lived near Riverside, California, and were quite tolerant of people.   These photos on this page show them eating green-winged teal and a rock dove (caught before dawn); one of these falcons was also fond of snowy egrets, cinnamon teal, white-faced ibis, and coots.
