Three-striped warbler        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Three-striped warblers are active little warblers from neotropical forests, one of several 'striped/banded' warbler species.   In these images, the species' bright black-and-white facial pattern is visible.   I photographed these birds in thick cloudforest vegetation along the Manu road on the eastern slope of the Andes in Peru, and in the Western Andes above Cali, Colombia.
