Golden-fronted whitestart        Images © Mark A. Chappell

Golden-fronted whitestarts are common cloud-forest birds in the Andes of Colombia, close relatives of the more widely distributed slate-throated redstart (or whitestart).   Although I saw quite a few of these active little birds, unfortunately I never got a good image.   This is my best, taken in Tatama National Park.
