Sedge warbler        Images © Mark A. Chappell

The sedge warbler is a common summer breeder in European marshes and wet meadows.   It has a rather inconspicuous plumage and usually stays deep in the reeds, but it has a loud, complex song and a fluttery territorial display flight that give away its position.   These were photographed in meadows near Zajki, Poland.
