Great tit
Images copyright by Mark A. Chappell

Many species of tits occur in Europe and Asia.   The great tit, shown here, is probably the most common in much of Europe and is a familiar resident of city parks, gardens, woods, and forests.   They are hard to photograph because they seldom stop moving for more than a couple of seconds; these pictures were taken near Bialowieza, Poland.

You can also find photos of blue tits and marsh tits on this site.
